The music ministry of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Spartanburg is made of active, energetic individuals who are passionate about God. The goal of the music ministry is to "Make a Joyful Noise unto the lord "(Psalm 100) with spiritual authenticity and musical excellence. The ministry strives to humbly serve the congregation as Psalm 100:2b reminds believers to "Come before His presence with singing." Or Psalm 100:4 also tells us to "Enter with the password Thank You." We believe in lifting up the name of Jesus. So if you want to be a part of the Music Ministry please come and join us. The Music Ministry has the following Choral Groups:
The Sanctuary Choir sing on 1st Sundays (Rehearsals are on Tuesday and/or Thursdays leading up to 1st Sunday) The Teens Choir/SunBeams sing on 2nd Sundays (Rehearsals are on1st Sundays and/or Thursdays and/or Saturdays leading up to 2nd Sunday) The Combine Choir sing on 3rd Sundays (Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays leading up to 3rd Sunday) The Men's Choir Rehearsals are on Mondays leading up to the 4th Sunday.
Rehearsals are subject to change depending on months that we have special occasions
